A God Awful Video
By Matt Cordon (kh). Filed in Video Clips |Someone at Cowboys-Forums requested a copy of the video entitled Dallas Cowboys Christmas Video ‘86. Kickholder for some reason has a copy of that video and said he would post the clips. Good Lord, this is bad. So bad that we just had to post it here.
You may want to turn off the sound on your computer. And please disregard Tony Dorsett’s clothing as he plays air drums. Please.

They put out on album that year. On vinyl, of course.
I think my mom still has it somewhere in her attic.

Um, Chief, you devoted an entire site to “Dallas Cowboys Suck” (http://www.dallascowboyssuck.com/)? Are you going to add anything to the one page that you have on that site? We’re just curious: (a) whether you are gainfully employed; and (b) whether either of your parents beat you with Dallas Cowboys merchandise when you were a child. If the latter is true, we’re truly sorry. But website development is really not the best cure for that type of problem.

William you might be on to something. I think there was a 3rd person present at TO’s residence Tuesday night. Jerry Jones, showing TO this video and informing him the ‘06 Cowboys would also be making a X-mas rap video with TO break dancing on the Texas Stadium Star!

This “Awful” or “Great” video of the Dallas Cowboys 85-86 is available at http://www.ymcrecords.com The best piece of history is “Those Were the Good Ole Days” with all the Legend players including Staubach, Bob Hayes, Preston Pierson, etc. Go Cowboys!

What’s wrong with the video? Why does it suck? Yeah, none of them claimed to be musicians but it is very tasteful and done with some class. What are they supposed to do??? RAP?
Please! As an established musician, I am so sick of listening to RAP and players attempting to make in the music world and all they have to offer is RAP!
The 1986 video is meant to be a heartwarming project and it is. Too bad though it was team that broke the 20 year winning streak!

I own the LPs and videos of both the ‘85 Christmas Album and the ‘86 Album. I break them out every year during the holidays — I love them!
I checked out the link above (ymcrecords.com) and don’t find it — has anyone else had any luck finding the video on this website?

I meant I can find the link, but I can’t find the Cowboys video anywhere on that website — has anybody else found it there?

I don’t think it’s there, Fred. The site now looks different than it did a couple of years ago. Here is the LP version of the special on Ebay..
