Greg EllisTerrell OwensNow that’s a little more like it.  Dallas took the second half kickoff and scored on the first drive.  Terrell Owens had two touchdowns.  Greg Ellis and Anthony Henry both had interceptions.

The board isn’t quite as anxious as it was 30 minutes ago…

Third quarter notes:

Great run by Julius Jones on the second play of the second half.  Huge hole off of the
right edge.  33 yards.

Followed by Houston’s first penalty.

The Dallas offense has looked better on the opening drive this half.  Jones is running the ball very well and is up to 78 yards.

Terrell Owens caught a touchdown.  Now shut him up!

Dallas 10, Houston 6
9 plays, 68 yards.

Dallas held Houston the ensuing drive.  The defense really isn’t pressuring Carr, but backs and receivers are getting hit hard.

Bledsoe is throwing the ball strangely.  Either he throws off his back foot or it looks like he is throwing a shotput.

A holding penalty on Andre Gurode negated a first down.  Randy Cross said it wasn’t a bad holding penalty(?)

Carr is getting plenty of time to throw.  The defensive line seems to be running in sand at times.  The good thing is that Houston can’t run the ball.

At 2:09 p.m. central time, Philadelphia, New York, and Washington are all trailing.

What an interception by Greg Ellis!!!  The ball was tipped by Bradie James, and Ellis dove to snatch the pick.

Bledsoe missed a wide open Jason Witten from the Dallas 21.

But Terrell Owens makes a great catch on the next play to give Dallas a 17-6 lead!

Dallas 17, Houston 6
3 plays, 23 yards

Terrible kickoff by Mike Vanderjagt.  Wondering if McBriar can do the kickoffs.

Houston looks to be in disarray.  Nice for the opponent to be experiencing this.

Another interception!  This time by Anthony Henry.  He timed his jump perfectly and jumped in front of Andre Johnson.

The Dallas offense did nothing.  No Vanderjagt on 4th and 2… Bledsoe hits Patrick Crayton for a 17-yard gain.

Barber has two very nice run to give the Cowboys a first and goal from the Houston one.

[Dallas scored on the first play of the fourth quarter to give the Cowboys a 24-6 lead]
