Dallas 35, Carolina 14: Prayers Are Answered
By Matt Cordon (kh). Filed in Dallas Cowboys News in Brief |
Dallas erased 14-0 deficit and scored 25 points in the fourth quarter to win 35-14. For those who said that Tony Romo should have started all season– go ahead and take credit. Romo finished 24 of 36 for 270 yards with 1 TD and 1 Int. He made plays that Drew Bledsoe could not make, kept plays alive by moving around, kept drives alive by scrambling. Huge, huge win.
Final stats are amazing:
First downs: Dallas 27, Carolina 16
Total yards: Dallas 404, Carolina 204
Time of Possession: Dallas 38:16, Carolina 21:44.
The defense made plays when it needed to make them. Yes, Carolina dropped plenty of passes, but we’ll take them.
I’ll have more a little bit later.
