A Sequence for the Season?

Should this season turn out to be anything special, then we can look back to the end of the third quarter of last night’s game for the beginning of that something special. The Cowboys started a drive with 53 seconds remaining in the third and drove the ball 71 yards in 14 plays. The drive resulted in a field goal that cut the Panther lead to 14-13. Brad Hoover fumbled the ensuing kickoff and Dallas recovered at the Carolina 14. After the play was upheld, Julius Jones darted up the middle for a go-ahead touchdown that the Cowboys did not relinquish.
Here is a clip that features the key plays in the fourth quarter:

Now isn’t this something, the Cowboys recovering from a 14-0 deficit becomes only the second time in Bill Parcells’ head coaching career one of his teams came back from a 14-point first-quarter deficit to win a game, the only other time occurring in 1986 when the Giants beat New Orleans.
