Can’t get enough of 10 Minutes to Know Your Dallas Cowboys? Well, notwithstanding (and judging by the number of people who have seen it, you apparently can get quite enough), here is a preview of Episode 3:

Len Pasquarelli at ESPN.com had two good articles about the Cowboys.

In the first, he notes that the Dallas defense has begun to set itself apart from the rest:

Having delivered the first notable hit Sunday afternoon for a Cowboys defense that kept authoring monumental plays in a 21-14 upset of the previously undefeated Colts, inside linebacker Bradie James offered a final parting shot as he exited the locker room at Texas Stadium.

“Everybody that plays the Colts says, ‘Hey, they can be had,’ you know?” said James, who registered seven tackles, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery in a performance for a defense that quickly is emerging as one of the NFL’s best young units. “But we are the only team that went out and beat the so-called ‘beatable’ unbeaten Colts. So what’s that say about us? Well, it kind of lets us know that we ain’t too bad, either, huh?”

Indeed, the Cowboys actually might be very good, particularly if this emotional victory blossoms into a seminal moment for a Bill Parcells outfit whose calling card had been a maddening lack of consistency.

He also wrote this about our idiot kicker:

For Dallas Cowboys coach Bill Parcells, it was a case of exhilaration mixed with exasperation here on Sunday evening. Not in equal doses, mind you, but with enough of the latter to have Parcells perhaps considering trying to find someone who can make a big field goal.

Right now, it appears, that guy is not Mike Vanderjagt.

“I think he has been a good kicker, but he keeps telling me that I don’t have to worry about him,” Parcells said, following Dallas’ 21-14 upset of the previously undefeated Indianapolis Colts. “Well, I am worried about him now. That’s all I’m going to say.”

And that’s all that needed to be said.

And Tim Cowlishaw is promoting Tony Romo as a Pro Bowl quarterback:

There are two reasons to suspect that Tony Romo’s final game this year will not be the Super Bowl.

One is that winning a playoff game in Chicago is going to be difficult for any visiting team.

But the other is that his last game this season should come a week after the Super Bowl.

Tony Romo to the Pro Bowl is not a ridiculous notion.
