NFL Highlights to Make You Sick All Over Again!
By Matt Cordon (kh). Filed in Dallas Cowboys News in Brief, Video Clips |
Well, here’s a surprise: watching the highlights made me more ill than I would have ever expected, given how numb I am right now. Care to be sickened as well? I’m here for you, as always.
Found one person who kept his head. Here’s a post by OCF on The Blue and Silver:
Sure we are still in the playoffs, and we have been riding a high for the last few weeks, so we all get to come back to earth, and still in control of our own destiny. We have pretty much lost our tiebreakers, but can still win the division by at least matching whatever the giants do each week.
This was a tough loss for many many reasons, but it really doesn’t matter at this point because it’s now history. Now we just need to focus on winning our division and take it from there. We probably won’t have a home bye, so we need to deal with it and move on.
The think I want to point out is that Peyton clearly out coached Parcells, with a team that isn’t as talented as the Cowboys. We clearly should have won that game, how will this affect Bill’s coaching from this point out.. don’t know.
Another point I want to make is a clear disappointment with T.O.’s play. Glenn still played his heart out and made some tough grabs. T.O. isn’t pulling his weight IMO.
The last thing I want to mention is that Bill has the talent and beef he asked for on the defense. He specifically built this defense to be able to stop offenses like we faced tonight. It didn’t come close… I hope we learn from this.
I think I agree, except I can’t think right now. Probably ought to get ready for class tomorrow…

I really think that the saints outcoached us and the defence had horrible, disgusting tackling.

On Wednesday, I had a really bad feeling that the TO cancer was starting to spread when he spewed that crap that came from his mouth about not listening to Parcells’ championship speech…Instead thinking of his 33rd birthday party. I could understand tuning out to some things Parcells said, but having a coach speaking on how to win a championship and you’re thinking of your birthday party, that’s just selfish. Remember TO has no rings while Parcells has two, so he knows what he’s talking about.
Then on TO’s interview with Michael Irvin, he describes his mistrust towards some of the coaching staff, and says that some of the times, he feels like “faking” it on plays. Basically he’s saying he sometimes dogs it during the plays. It’s just as bad when Randy Moss said, “I play like I feel”. He then talks about being on guard because of not trusting people with the 49ers and the Eagles.
Then during the Saints game, it seemed that he wasn’t even trying…even got the Cowboys a 15 yard taunting penalty. So here’s what I think of TO right now…
TO is a cancer and needs to go to a psychiatrist because he obviously has mental issues. I don’t know why…Was it because he never had a father figure, or his dictatorist grandmother who didn’t let him do anything? This guy pulls this kind of stuff because he wants attention. He hasn’t been getting a lot due to Romo’s sucess and probably was eating at him. He’s basically a little kid wanting a candy bar in the checkout line and crying and pouting when he doesn’t get it. All TO’s interview with Irvin was, was crying out saying…I want attention, look at me.
He’s also a guy you don’t want to cross or pal around with because sooner or later, he’s going to backstab you. He did that with Garcia and McNabb. The only people he didn’t backstab was Steve Young and Michael Irvin. Sooner or later he will.
TO’s like a spoiled child…if he gets disciplined, he will go out and exact revenge even if it is the smallest amount of correcting. TO has this “No one can tell me what to do” attitude and then when someone corrects him he goes home and cries that he was treated badly. When a manager or a coach stands up to him, as with the 49ers and Eagles, he will go some where else. But before TO leaves, he lights the organization on fire and leaves it in ruins. Just look at the 49ers and Eagles. Sadly for those teams, the TO cancer ran its course and those teams are dead. Even though the Eagles are a playoff team, they won’t be a sucess like they were from 2002-2005.
Almost ever single NFL color commentator or analyst, except for Michael Irvin and Steve Young, think TO is a menace and a team killer. Who wouldn’t blame’em? They are correct, that he’s selfish, a backstabber, and pouts when he doesn’t get his way. So why is Bill Parcells putting up with his crap? Well he puts up with his crap because he’s too old tired and with putting up with stuff anymore. I could see it in his eyes, Parcells wants to avoid him at all costs and doesn’t want to deal with him anyway. Sooner or later TO will get under his skin and will alienate himself like he did with the 49ers and Eagles. He will be run out of Dallas and no team will want him or if he does get picked up play for one year.
Sometime down the road when TO is out of the NFL, he will be a very very lonely man. He will alienate his NFL teammates, his friends like Steve Young and Michael Irvin, and will not be welcomed into any cities. He will not get married because he’s has too much of an ego and will not share like a marriage is suppose to include. His child will grow up and find out how much of a selfish man his father was.
TO…You are, as a human being, a lowly person. You want to take all of the credit and then when someone corrects you, you want him to go down in flames. You are not the same man as Michael Irvin. Michael never ever talked bad about Troy or Emmitt, and never badmouthed or backstabbed the coaches, or the owner. Michael never dogged a play because he wanted to win no matter the costs. I hope you don’t lose Michael, because he’s one of only two friends that you have. You have alienated yourself from people and sooner or later you will be a very very lonely man. You don’t take responsibility for your mistakes and instead blame others.
TO…I swear if you implode this team with your negative actions and words, Cowboy fans will dog you for life just like in Philadelphia. I don’t wish death upon anyone or any bodily harm, nor do I believe in even threatening anyone. However, you’d better watch your back for the rest of your life because some crazy fan will want to harm you.
TO…Lastly….fu

Thanks for the posts.
Someone, good points. If Owens wants attention, he’d get plenty of it by making the plays on the field. He had more than a few opportunities in the Saints games, but instead had more half-ass misses and dropped passes.
