Dallas Cowboys Kickholder

Thanks also to my mother for sending this, which is rather ironic because she much preferred my role as a kickholder to other roles due to her irrational fear that I was going to break my neck. My worse football injuries, as it turns out, were a series of jammed fingers, but those weren’t caused by kickholding. They were rather caused by a combination of bad snapping and my own bad habit of closing my hands too quickly when I took the snap.

I know, none of you asked, but I want to stress yet again that I was one lousy quarterback.
