Clip: 1994 Playoff Win Over Green Bay
By Matt Cordon (kh). Filed in Remembering Those Glory Days, Video Clips |
Here’s an interesting video: newscast highlights of the Cowboys’ 35-9 win over the Packers in the 1994 NFC playoffs. This game has largely been forgotten due to the fact that the Cowboys lost their next game in the NFC title game to San Francisco. But the highlights remind us that at one point, Dallas had Blaire Thomas, who had two touchdowns in the game while Emmitt Smith nursed a sore hamstring. The interviews after the game also bring back memories.

Heh. Check out the John Amaechi highlight right after the Cowboys one.

I missed that part, IP. I should note that this video was posted by a Packers fan…

Excuse Me? A “Packers Fan”? I’m the one who posted the video onto YouTube (I captured the video from an old tape of mine) and i’m not a Packers fan, nor am I a Cowboys fan. But I am a big Football fan and I was busy posting old commercials and clips from old VHS tapes of mine and I found this.
Where did you come to the assumption that I am a Packers fan? That’s a bit arrogant of you to assume

My bad, MrNostalgia. On the playlist for your video, I saw several other Packer videos and mistakenly thought those were listed under “More from this user.” That is why I thought the original poster was a Packers fan, but I was obviously wrong.
This was not a personal attack on you, sir, but rather a less serious response to the first commenter’s note that John Amaechi appears in the second part of the clip. It is a great clip, and I am glad you posted it.
