Little did either of you who care for this blog know that I originally intended for it to be a bastion of trivia questions about the Dallas Cowboys (hence the name of the site). So due to a lack of daily interest on my part about who the Cowboys might draft as of rightthismoment, what the status of Terrell Owens’ hand is, or who the Most Obscure Player in 1969 was (it’s coming, I promise), let’s try some trivia…

Great questions, Tim. Thanks for posting. My answers:
(1) Meredith won the Bert Bell award in 1966.
Follow-up question: Which other Cowboys have won the award, and during which seasons?
(2) 1969
(3) 1967 (our first ever playoff win).
(4) 1968– Howley returned a fumble for a touchdown vs. Cleveland in Don Meredith’s final game.
(5) Renfro was a running back in college, but I don’t know the season. I would guess 1964.

In 1969 I had a female teacher who was a twin to one of the players and I can’t recall the name of the teacher for a clue of the last name. Can anybody help?
