Among the many records that Troy Aikman set in his career was the most number of games in which he passed for at least 300 yards (regular season only). Aikman accomplished this 13 times in his career, breaking the old mark of 10 that was set by Danny White.

Wow! Rodger the Dodger only had six total. I never would have guessed that. But it was a different era, and the Cowboys were even more of a running team than during Aikman’s time.
With all the yards Bledsoe put up for the Boys, you would have thought he had more than 3. Also, Romo’s numbers are particularily interested due to the fact he had no first team snaps in training camp and he came in and played only ten games. Not bad you could say. I hope he has many more 300+ games with those being in the W column.
That’s just the thing, though. 300 yd passing games usually end in an L. Also, show me a QB with a bunch of 300 yd games, and almost always I can show you a team with a poor running game. So here’s to hoping he doesn’t have many more 300 yd games. Or many sub-200 games. Just nice consistent 220-280 games, just like Aikman and Staubach had while quaterbacking the best Cowboys teams ever.
