Almost everyone now has the Cowboys ranked as the top team in the NFC and the #3 team in the NFL behind New England and Indianapolis. This is a brief blurb from Vic Carucci on NFL.com:

The pounding the Cowboys delivered in Philly on national TV made a compelling case that they should be viewed as the top team in the NFC.

That’s better than what I saw from ESPN’s Skip Bayless, who had Dallas ranked fifth in the NFC. Jackass.

The questions from last week had little to do with the reasons why Dallas won, but I’ll review them anyway:

1. How will Dallas score first vs. Philadelphia?

45% of the 56 responders said that the Cowboys would score a touchdown on their first drive. This is exactly what happened following Donovan McNabb’s fumble on the first play of the game.

2. Who will have the most yards rushing for the Cowboys?

73% said that Marion Barber would, while only 23% said it would be Julius Jones. Thanks to some carries at the end of the game, Jones ended up with 57 yards to Barber’s 56.

3. Who will have the best receiving day for the Cowboys?

Jason Witten (46%) was the safe bet, but Terrell Owens (41%) ended with the best day, including 10 receptions for 174 yards and a touchdown.
