Really wish I could change the lyrics to “We Gotta Get Out of This Game” but will settle for the above. Here’s some trivia:

Question #1: True or False? Dallas has never swept the Redskins during a season when the Cowboys later won the Super Bowl.

In this short week, a few posts are obviously going to have to be consolidated. If you are dying to know the answers to the questions waiting for answers

Well, I didn’t get around to posing the questions waiting for answers. All I can offer is the poll question below:

What Was Your Key to the Game?

Simply put: Terrell Owens
Depleted Redskins secondary made it easy
Challenging the 3rd quarter interception
Andre Gurode remembered how to snap the ball
Third down passing by Tony Romo

This poll is intentionally a tough one. I personally think that the challenge of the interception was the biggest event of the game, for the overturning of the interception followed by a Dallas touchdown represented a 14-point turnaround. The Fort Worth Startle Gram has a piece about this:

Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo turned his night around in the third quarter thanks to a reversed call.

The Cowboys challenged Redskins linebacker Rocky McIntosh’s interception and return to the Cowboys’ 3-yard line with Dallas trailing 10-7. The officials changed the call, ruling that McIntosh failed to control the ball on the diving attempt in front of Jason Witten.

Dallas converted a third-and-6 with a 51-yard penalty on Washington safety Reed Doughty against a wide-open Patrick Crayton. Three plays later, Romo connected with Terrell Owens for a 31-yard touchdown and Dallas’ first lead at 14-10 with 2:09 left in the third quarter.

“I thought we made too many mistakes, especially early on, that put us in a little bit of a hole, but we fought back in the second half,” Romo said.

Question #2: Same question for the other team– Have the Redskins ever won the Super Bowl in a season when they swept the Cowboys?

Question #3: Terrell Owens now has more than 1,000 yards this season. How many 100-yard games has he had?
