Nostradamus has proven to be pretty good luck in the past two games, so we will take yet another look at the Nostradamus Quatrain Generator:

And the response:

The text:
Earth-shaking fire from the center of the Earth
The monster divine omen will be seen in plain daylight
After victory pardon to the captives
Meanest assistance against their frontier
My response:
(1) Earth-shaking fire must mean an offensive explosion? Take the over, gentlemen!
(2) Someone must run to daylight, given that the game starts at 7:15 p.m.
(3) Why pardon the captives? They can go back to Green Bay whenever they want.
(4) I have not idea what “meanest assistance” means. When I looked it up on Google, I found the HOAX FORUM, which included this phrase from the Nostradamus Quatrain Generator. This is a hoax???
AccuScore
Somewhat surprisingly, the Cowboys won 72.9% of the simulations on AccuScore by an average score of 30.3 to 21.6.
What If Sports
It will be a much closer game according to What If Sports. Dallas won 50.8 percent of its simulations by a score of 22.2 to 16.2 I’ll be tuning in to AccuScore.
Pigskin Pick’em
Worst week in a while on the Pick’em front:
Week 11: 6/16
Season: 88/176
Average: 84.3/176
Best: 112/176
After picking all three Thanksgiving games correctly, I only picked three of the next thirteen. I was fairly confident about Pittsburgh (favored by 16 1/2) and New England (favored by 22 1/2), but neither game through.
As for this week, here is the blurb about the Cowboys-Packers game:
The top teams in the NFC square off in a highly-anticipated matchup that could determine who gets home-field advantage in the playoffs. The Packers have won all five of their road games, while Dallas has won five of six home games. The Packers are riding a six-game winning streak and Dallas has won five in a row.

One Comments to “Preview: Cowboys vs. Packers”
[...] first line was the same one that we saw for the Packers’ game, which much be a good sign. And from the looks of things, I predict that we will make twelve trips [...]
